VISIT PLATFORMWe are professionals with more than 20 years of experience in teaching languages and history. We consider ourselves a product of Latin-American reality. Complexity and cultural diversity are part of our cultural background. Looking for new possibilities for our family, we arrived in Cabo in 2005 and immediately connected with this magical place and its people.
Our Vision is to establish ourselves as the School for young people and adults in Cabo that allow non-Spanish speaking residents to achieve Spanish as a second language in order to obtain linguistic insertion with the local society. Our Mission is to spread the use of Spanish and to provide an idea of some aspects of the complexities of Latin America with professionalism and an open intercultural approach.
8 students maximum. It is a modular course in six levels with a task-based approach. Each module contains units, providing an effective approach to learning vocabulary and grammar with communicative tasks, cultural activities, with particular attention paid to the Latin American community as a whole. This course is designed to introduce students to Latin American culture. After the 3rd level the student has the opportunity to take international examinations.
Private or group with a maximum of 8 students. Monday through Friday. Minimum course 1 week. Recommended course 4 weeks. Our immersion course is comprised of 15 or 25 Spanish language and culture lessons per week. This course helps motivated students to quickly enhance their speaking, listening and reading skills on a fast track. Includes field trips, activities, excursions, and accommodation options.
30 modules of 1.5 hours each. You do not want to do a full course, you just want to be able to talk to the gardener, the cook or the people at the restaurant. You can do it at school or at your house or club house. Topics include: personal introduction, making friends, answering the phone, the house, housekeeping, stores & directions, the doctor, supermarket, restaurants, shopping, and more.
A unique approach to learning Spanish by focusing on situations rather than "school" style grammar. Grocery Shopping, Dining Out, Around Your Home. Each course can be completed in less than one week with only two, three-hour classes on Mondays and Thursdays. You can enroll for the three courses within a month or for just one or two of them.
Are you going back to your country and you want to go on studying Spanish? Do you just want to begin learning Spanish and live far from San José del Cabo? Private Classes through Zoom. You will have a teacher working with you wherever you are. You can choose to follow a full course or we can just adapt to your requirements.
1 week – 6 or 10 hours. Monday through Friday flexible schedule with a minimum of 1.5 hours per time. In case of no knowledge of Spanish the idea is to give basic elements while the student is on vacation. We prepare our students for specific situations such as usage of Mexican currency, hotel and restaurant conversations, shopping locally and some health issues.
Designed for all levels and ages. Start your day in the classroom with one of our qualified teachers, learn about a specific topic of your choice (including relevant vocabulary and common phrases), and then go out on an adventure to practice what you've learnt in the real-world.

If you are coming from San Lucas turn left at La Comer roundabout. Take the second exit to your right to take the G20 road, Boulevard Forjadores. Follow that road for around 1.5 mile until Barlovento (second OXXO). Turn left and immediately take the side road to your right, Chinook. Follow the road to the church, turn left and take the first one on to the left again. Half a block ahead on your right you will see a blue house and that is our location.

"Los Cabos" is at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. It is a "town" with three highly differentiated areas, two towns "Cabo San Lucas" and "San José del Cabo" and a "Tourist Corridor" of 30 km that connects both towns. San Jose del Cabo is quieter and has more Mexican flavor than Cabo San Lucas.
Something remarkable about Cabo is the combination of desert, mountains and sea. Although English is commonly spoken in Los Cabos, locals appreciate visitors' efforts to speak their language. You will find helpful the fact that you may practice your Spanish with the locals but at the same time most of the population speak or try to speak English so you may get help if you feel lost.
To eat in Cabo could be an international experience, ranging from French to Thai to Argentinean restaurants and of course all kind of Mexican places to eat. You can choose from high-end restaurants to cheap family places where you can taste Mexican food from nearly all the different states.
"Spanish in Cabo was very helpful and enjoyable. Eduardo was a good instructor and kept the classes interesting. I learned many practical items that will help me function better in Cabo. I recommend the classes."
"Spanish in Cabo gave us excellent personalized instruction. Malena took us out to situations (to a bookstore, a food market...) just so we were able to practice what we had just learned. In just 5 days of immersion, our comfort with conversing in Spanish has improved dramatically."
"There is no quicker or better way to learn a language than through complete immersion and this school helped me advance my Spanish both swiftly and effectively. The school's owners, Eduardo and Malena from Uruguay, are two highly professional, dedicated teachers."
"'Spanish in Cabo' will take you from studying Spanish to thinking and speaking Spanish. What more could you want? Gracias a Malena, Eduardo y Jorge."
"The entire team at Spanish in Cabo seemed committed to making sure that I could achieve this goal. Their commitment to my success and their flexibility inspired me. I was happily surprised to find out that I had passed at a high standard after only 4 weeks."
"Since becoming a student at Spanish in Cabo, I feel amazing! I am finally integrating with the people, by being able to communicate and understand the language. I finally feel included in the bigger picture and at one with my surroundings."
In March 2010 we implemented a supplemental educational program for high academic achievers from low income families. Most of these children attend Pino Orozco School in Colosio Colony, San Jose del Cabo. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 receive instruction in English (4 hours a week), Music (2 hours a week) and Art (2 hours a week).
The main goal of this program is to expand the horizon for these children through exposure to English, Art, Music and other cultural activities. We believe these classes will serve to help to integrate these children more fully into society. At the moment there are 15 children participating in the program, most of them with a full scholarship.
